Oualidia to El Jadida

El Jadida & Azemmour
A morning on El Jadida's bastions, then nearby Azemmour, a quiet whitewashed town of murals and old medina lanes on the Oum Er-Rbia river.

Return via Casablanca or Marrakech
Drive on to Casablanca (about an hour, for the Hassan II Mosque and the airport) or back south toward Marrakech, depending on your onward route.

- Distances are short: Essaouira–Safi ~2 hours, Safi–Oualidia ~1.5 hours, Oualidia–El Jadida ~1.5 hours.
- Oualidia oysters are farmed in the lagoon and safe to eat at the established farm restaurants.
- A car (self-drive or with driver) makes this route far easier than public transport along the coast.
